1930s Paisley Design Hat Box- chart and instructions

This is a sewing pattern for a very chic 1930s hat box decorated with a cross stitch paisley design (the cross stitch is optional- you can choose to leave the fabric plain or decorate it with your own hand or machine embroidery) The instructions include the cross-stitch chart for the paisley design so even if you do not use it on the box, you could use it elsewhere! The box is made from very simple shaped pieces and is easy to make from the diagrams shown and instructions given. Once you have made it once and understand the simple process you should be able to understand how to make it in different sizes too.
